Madison MeilanKeala‘okapualilia Young
The name Madison comes from my father, he as a professional boxer was in love with the sport, therefore naming me after one of the greatest boxing arenas "Madison Square Garden". Meilan coming from my Chinese background it means the beautiful orchid. As for my hawaiian name, Keala‘okapualilia it means the scent of the lily, but not all lilies have a scent so therefore it is the sweet smell of the baby, the scent that is easily recognized and never to be forgotten. me being that I will always be remembered, never forgotten.

For me the Big Island has always been home, still in the same crazy house hold for as long as I could remember. things began to shift a little when i got into Kamehameha schools in the 7th grade. as for boarding, "the hill" became another home away from home. The people who make me who I am today are non other than my friends and family, although I like to think of my friends as people who became just like family.
My ‘Ohana
I am the only girl out of five boys, all older and have already graduated from high school all except for my younger brother who is now a sophomore at Kamehameha high school. I have been raised by both my wonderful mother Ka‘ipo and father Ke‘ala.
